Since its founding, Kasakuni has been proudly
working on confectionery production with pride as
the purveyor of confectionery of Koyasan Kongobuji
Temple.
Thanks to you, our confectionery such as the
famous confection "Mirokuishi”
has been highly
regarded by many persons over the years.
We aim to continue to deliver traditional fragrant
fine confectionery utilizing the techniques we have
cultivated over a long history.
We would appreciate your consideration for use as
presents, congratulatory gifts, Buddhist service items,
offerings, and daily use for family members.

History of KASAKUNI

  • Founded by Kunisaburo Kobayashi, a peddler
    with the business name "Kasakuni".
    Moved to Koyasan and a shop established
  • 2nd generation Yoshisuke Kobayashi
    appointed as representatives
  • Opened as a Japanese confectionery shop
    Famous Koyasan confections
    (Mirokuishi, Koyasantsuho, Hijiri Yokan) born
  • 3rd generation Hiroshi Kobayashi appointed
    as representative
  • Kasakuni established
  • 4th generation Junichi Kobayashi appointed
    as representative
  • 5th generation Akiyoshi Kobayashi
    appointed as representative director

    preserving the tradition of Koyasan, we are

    the development of Japanese
    confectionery that is truly
